This is Why.

I love to scrapbook. I have been doing this hobby for almost ten years and I can't imagine my life without it. I decided to start a business in the scrapbooking field because I wanted to do what I love. BUT...sometimes it's a lot. I get the: I'm behind in my pages guilt, or I bought too much scrap supplies guilt, or I need to take better phots guilt, or the I can't believe I haven't been published guilt. So, sometimes I need a little reminder. I decided to do a layout tonight with NO guilt. I was going to scrap some photos that I thought did not turn out "perfect", but reflected what is really important, the fun we have as a family. I remembered that in many of the photos I took during my hubby's birthday dinner, I was laughing so hard because of how silly he and my son were being. That is what is important. This time I did not worry about every little embellishment and paper, I just wanted to get down to the core again of why I scrapbook. These are the memories I want to record and pass down to future generations. The journaling reads: Just another reminder of why I scrapbook...to capture the everyday moments that make my heart smile. To capture us.
Thanks for stopping by! Keep those comments coming...I will draw a random winner for some scrap goodies tomorrow night.

Love the page! That's good therapy to take time to scrap the good memories, and not let the "guilt" get in the way. The page looks fab!

I think this page is FANTASTIC! I'm right there with you. I buy WAY too many supplies & feel guilty about not using them as quickly as I want. Then I get annoyed when an event goes by & there aren't any "perfect" pics. **SIGH** You're so right...

It's so fun when you can scrap with out guilt and with the not so perfect pictures that we all are striving to take these days. Thanks for the reminder of what is truly important.
PS love the blog and your company!

LOVE the button bin! I keep overthinking this organization thing - what containers? how to sort? where to put? I'd have spent hours sorting and separating those buttons but this makes PERFECT sense! All your buttons, there, in one place, to see and touch and choose. Brilliant! Would love to see more photos of your studio, and get tips on organizing. Am just starting my new combo scrap room/guest room... I need help!
