Lots of Layouts-Day 1

Hello Friends! Where did the weekend go!?

I know some of you probably think I don't scrapbook anymore because I have only been sharing cards. Well, I have SEVERAL layouts to share from my fabulous scrapbook weekend with Carla. A few weeks ago we decided to meet up at a hotel and scrap for an entire weekend. You can read all about it on Carla's blog post HERE. Carla, I had so much fun and can't wait to do it again! :)

So, since I have lots of layouts to share, I thought I would share one a day. The first one is pretty simple but one of my favorites of Alex. I just love this kid...Journaling: "You are living proof that teenagers can be caring, sweet, and mature."

You will notice that all of the layouts will have typed journaling from Carla's typewriter that she brought. It was by far my favorite tool from the trip. I must get one now! :)

Since the LO was so simple, I did want to add a bit more texture. It's hard to see but I added brads in the middle of some of the patterned paper's design...(Photo by Tine Hoffmann)

Thanks for stopping by...off to watch Brother's and Sisters. I LOVE that show!

Be back tomorrow with another layout to share...

I love this LO Heather and that pic is just amazing!!!
I had a great time too and I'm glad you liked the typewriter :) We both enabled each other to add some new toys to our collection. I'm on a distress ink kick again. I had some but got a few more.
I actually scrapped 3 more pages this weekend, lol. I thought I would have been on strike!!

I love the look of type written words! I found an electric typewriter (to be used for scrapbooking) at our local Goodwill and bought it for $4! I was giddy when I brought it home :)
