Party Planning and Organizing!

Hello! Thought I'd pop in today and share some pictures about what I've been up to.

I'm in full on party planning mode. Aiden turns two in a few weeks and I've decided on a Mickey theme since he is obsessed with him. LOL Here are the invitations I made (the red half circle is a pocket so you can remove the white circle to reveal the rest of the party information)...

I picked up some Mickey Washi tape to seal the envelopes before dropping them in the mail...

I've also been working on one of the party games, which will be "Find Pluto's Missing Dog Bones"...

And what's a party without loot bags!?...

...and some of the goodies going inside...

I've also been busy organizing my crafty supplies like all my ink colors...

It has already helped me remember what I have, pick out color combos, and match colors to paper. I simply stamped all the ink colors with THIS stamp onto some basic white tags and added the name with the label maker. I finished it off by putting them all on a book ring...

I also decided to organize all my plastic pages for Project Life into one binder album. I used THESE tab dividers to separate them easily. I like they have a little tab on top for easily labeling (getting to that soon)...

I'm loving the new system already. I'm not sure why I didn't do this a long time ago! LOL

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Little Tangles Challenge #29

Hello! I just posted a new challenge over on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog...

And here is my One Layer Card...

One layer cards are really difficult for me. I love adding details to my cards so this was out of my comfort zone, but I like how it turned out. To create the colorful "shadows" behind the black image of the light bulb, I inked the back side of the stamp. It creates a great "border", solid image. To give it a little pop, I added a glitter pen to the inside workings of each light bulb. Here is the awesome stamp set I used called Sparkle and Shine...

Head on over and enter your card for the one layer card challenge HERE! The winner gets a stamp set of their choice! Can't wait to see what you create!

Some exciting news...

Hello friends. Happy New Year. I mentioned on my last blog post that I've been busy with a new crafty adventure and thought I would share since it went live today. I'm happy to say I'm the new Design Team Leader for 2014 on the Little Tangles Blog!

If you're not familiar with the The Little Tangles Challenge Blog, you should really check it out. It is a sister blog to Neat and Tangled that hosts challenges. There are two every month (the first and third Thursday of the month) and you can link up your card/project for a chance to win a Neat and Tangled stamp set of your choice! Their stamps are awesome and Danielle Walls (the owner) is a class act. Oh, and their sequins are the bomb. :)

The challenge theme going on right now is "Saying Hello". Here is my very bright card I created for the challenge:

Here are the Neat and Tangled supplies I used:

The A LOT TO SAY speech bubble is one of my favorite stamps. It makes for a great match with my Project Life supplies because of it's 3x4 size...

So make sure you head over HERE and enter your card in the Saying Hello Challenge. We would love for you to play along. Don't have Neat and Tangled Stamps? No worries. We have some FREE digi stamps HERE that you can use.
