The journaling talks about the struggles that we face and how we work together through every challenge. I love this man and couldn't face a lot of this without him. I really wanted to do this LO because I didn't want all of our scrapbooks to display a "perfect life". I want to tell my story, good and bad. I love to record happy memories but it felt good to create one that talked about real struggles in our lives.

I took a few pictures (okay, who am I kidding? I took a whole bunch) of Alex before he went to pick her up. This is one of my favorites of him...
Sigh. Sometimes when I look at him, I can still see that 10 year old boy that I first met. He has transformed into a wonderful young man right before my eyes. It's even sweeter seeing him in a relationship and being thoughtful, caring, and respectful towards her. Makes my heart want to burst. So very proud of him. Love you Alex!
We just got home from Indy, where we spent the night last night and where we went antique shopping, where we enjoyed this beautiful fall weather, where we ate yummy food, and even where we went bowling (the first time ever since we've been together and I kicked his butt! LOL). It was such a nice time. We are heading out to dinner in a few minutes but I wanted to leave you with this card that I thought fit today's theme ;) ...
I used some glossy accents on the bowl to make it shiny! ...
