I got to go to the butterfly show. It's held every year close to where I live and I've always wanted to go but never got around to it. Alex surprised me today and took me. Bless his heart.A few pics of the butterflies that I had time to edit...

The best part was just spending time with Alex. Yep. I'm a happy girl. 
(FYI-Alex told me after he snapped this picture that he made sure I was on the right side of the frame in the pic so that I plenty of room on the left in case I wanted to digitally add my journaling to. LOL Yes, this kid knows me so well and has a heart of gold. Love him.)

what great pics Heather!!! That's funny about leaving room for journaling, lol. My husband has been taking pictures of food from great meals that he makes, told me he got that from me.
do you live in cincinnati? we went to the butterfly show at the krohn conservatory and it was soooo hot! we couldn't take the heat for very long. really great pics, and what a clever guy to leave you room for journaling. i'm a new follower to your blog and can't wait to see more of your work! :)
