I decided to make flat notecards, so the opening is actually the die-cut label. I used a brad to make them swivel open so I can write my message....

Cards for kids? I have 13 grandkids and that means 13 different birthday, valentine, St. Patrick, Easter, April Fool, May Day, 4th of July, Summer, Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and, of course New Year's cards. Not to mention those "special event" cards - making the A team, straight A report card, dance recital, swim meet, and on and on and on. I LOVE MAKING KIDS CARDS.
My card is already on it's way - with a book mark and silly riddle.
