It's not a great pic but I covered a composition notebook for Alex to write his songs in. He is really into his band and composing his own songs so needless to say it was a hit! (I used the sticky Love, Elsie black music paper and some leather stitched borders from Lil' Davis.)Another horrible pic but this is a layout I did of Alex recently:
The journaling is cut off in the pic (and yes it is on an angle on purpose...happy accident! lol) but reads: "So good to see you enjoying your passion of music. It comes so easily to you. You are truly a gifted young man." I used the new KI lace cardstock (loved it!) and some fun Love, Elsie stuff. The title was used with the new Doodlebug stickers but they were brown so I used them as a mask and swiped some paint across them and then peeled them up. I really like the effect.
How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was great. My hubby always surprises me. He is the best. Love him! Must go watch Survivor now. Thanks for stopping by!
