HA Pairing Up Challenge-Day 1

Hello! Back from my scrap trip and had a great time! This week I'm going to share cards that I made for the Hero Arts Pairing Up Challenge. I was paired up with super talented and sweet Judy Marino and we decided to work with a Hero Arts stamp set and theme for each day.

So, today we decided to work with THIS Hero Arts stamp set...

and the theme was using Cuttlebug embossing folders. I decided to use a whole bunch of embossing folders on some die-cut butterflies. Then I inked them with different distress inks and sprayed them heavily with pearlized water. Here is how it turned out...
Make sure you go check out Judy's card HERE.

Oh! And before I forget, the winner of the RAK from THIS post is...STEPHANIE RODEMAN...Email me your address and I'll get your goodies out to you. :)

Be back tomorrow with another card and challenge....

Lovely card, Heather. Your embossed butterflies are beautiful. I'm with Donna and Ann about the greeting set, so I obviously don't study the catalog as thoroughly as I think :o)

Heather this is outstanding sweetie. I so love the coloured butterflies against the kraft paper. I so love how you can make that kraft paper sing. I make cards sometimes with it and it just doesn't seem to have the same affect! Lol! So love all of the texture going on here and all the extra touches of inks and liquid pearl shine. You really do know how to make a butterfly shine! Thanks for the inspiration sweetie. I so loved looking at this one. Now I have another idea to try! Hugs.
